Cooling Check List

 
  • Inspect all wiring connections
  • Check all voltage and amperage to all motors with meter
  • Check air temperature drop across evaporator
  • Check refrigerant charge
  • Lubricate motor, when necessary
  • Check belt and adjust tension
  • Install or wash your air filters as required (filters are additional)
  • Check pressure switch cut-out settings
 
  • Check condenser fan blade and motor
  • Check starting contactor contacts
  • Check compressor operation
  • Check thermostat operation
  • Check condensate pump operation
  • Check that condensation drain is open
  • Check for blocked condenser coil. Wash/clean when necessary
 

Heating Check List

 
  • Check safety controls / relief valve (boilers)
  • Check fan controls
  • Check thermostat operation
  • Check and adjust fan belt (replace if necessary)
